How to turn your limitations into gifts
Have you noticed that often the things we care mostly about are the ones in which we’ve experienced limitations?
For example, I care about wellbeing because I suffered the consequences of burnout. I care about compassion because I realised how detrimental it was to motivate myself and others with the whip of harsh criticism.
In a similar way, it’s the areas where we’re most limited at in ourselves that we have the greatest potential for growth – not just relative to where we are, but relative to those who are ‘naturally good’ at it. Why? Because we’re more motivated to grow and develop. We don’t take it for granted.
A quote to keep in mind
“No matter what your ability is, effort is what ignites that ability and turns it into accomplishment.”
― Carol S. Dweck, ‘Mindset: The New Psychology Of Success’
How to turn your limitations into gifts

Then try asking yourself:
💡 What might be the opportunity for growth that I’m presented with?
