How to make self-reflection more doable
In one of my past blogs, I talked about how the prerequisite for showing up as your best self consistently is having a regular reflection practice.
Taking the time to ask yourself the following on a regular basis:
💡 What went well?
💡 What didn’t go so well?
💡 What am I going to continue / start / stop doing going forward?
Sounds easy, right? Not quite. Doing it on your own requires a great deal of self-discipline. Doing it with a coach on an ongoing basis can be expensive.
A quote to keep in mind
“If you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together.”
– African proverb
How to make self-reflection more doable
A very under-utilised way of developing a regular reflection practice is by leveraging the power of peer coaching – two people who relate to, inspire and motivate each other getting together on a regular basis to share their reflections.
There are a few hurdles to setting it up, but the benefits are boundless!
